THE Chase Host Bradley Walsh — who famously cracked up over a question about skier Fanny Chmelar — is confronted by her at midnight in a TV prank.
Bradley, 63, is hauled from a hotel bed in a new episode of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
Not only does he realise he is now a participant in the show’s regular Midnight Gameshow segment, but he finally meets Fanny — 12 years after crying with laughter at her name.
A TV insider told The Sun: “As if he weren’t bewildered enough by being woken by Michael and the crew, he suddenly finds himself face to face with Fanny.”
“He finds himself a surprise participant in the Midnight Gameshow on Michael’s hit show and as part of the experience he is suddenly confronted by the skier.
“As if he weren’t bewildered enough by being dragged from his slumber by McIntyre and the film crew he suddenly finds himself face to face with Fanny.”
German Fanny, 37, appears in person in the prank, set up with the help of Bradley’s wife Donna and son Barney.
A 2011 clip of the question on his ITV show asking what sport she does has been viewed more than three million times.
In it, even chaser Anne “The Governess” Hegarty giggles before both she and contestant Brynn Jones both wrongly guess that the answer is horse riding.
